I don't know anything about this series. But there is supposedly a genetically enhanced dinosaur with a ring in the nostrils in it (what the heck are these guys payed for?) So a dinosaur (an allosaurus).

The Runaways - Adult Edition

In my concept, the story takes place ten years after issue 14 of Volume 3 of the late series.
The Pride has reformed and one of its targets is the destruction of the Runaways and using Alex Wilder, freshly resurected by the Pride as an obedient zombie for their dark designs.
The group has disbanded since a long time, then and all are living their lives in different states.
One day, Nico Minoru gets back home at Santa Barbara, California to find a deadly wounded Molly Hayes. Before her last breath, she explained that the Pride has reappeared and ambushed her at har job place, reavealing her true identity and abilities to the public. She makes Nico promise to alert all the other and do everything to protect them. And the youngest of them dies.
In the following weeks, Nico travel all over the states to protect her former teammates from the Pride.
Xavin ended her relationship with Karolina Dean and left for outer space to rebuild the Skrull Empire. Karolinais now a investigation journalist in Omaha, Nebraska.
Chase Stein is a firefighter in Houston, Texas and uses his special gloves on duty. Victor Mancha is a young construction worker in Seattle, Washington, that refused to use his powers until now.
Nico Minoru magic powers have grown so powerful that at one point she was able to resurect Alex Wilder's soul. He finally finds the way to escape the Pride influence and join his former friends.
He resumed his role as the leader, trained himself phisically to match his strategic skills and genius intellect. Both charcters started to date not long after his return and are now engaged.
Nico has also find away to return Gertrude's soul to our plane of existence and merge it with Gertrude's Old Lace's. Old Lace has grown to be a super large and dangerous 87th century T-Rex that can talk!
Together they form the brand new adult version of what they were ten years ago, to survive the Pride at first and then make 'em pay for the loss of Molly Hayes!

I've never read Age Of Apocalypse. The X Universe was already enough complicated / absurd and drawn by artists I didn't and still don't like (except Bacchaloand Davis), I wasn't going to buy all this stuff. So I came up with a generic image of two characters: Rogue and Sabretooth. I could have drawn Magneto instead of Creed, but since I'm a big Beauty and the Beast enthousiast... I've lost this habit of drawing big characters with 2 meters wide shoulders, I should do it on Creed. And broad his chest too. Curiously I've come up with a Rogue very similar to Soul's.

I got special love for these five villains as a team!
Not that they achieve much as killers for hire but they have a real cool dynamic in terms of looks and powers!
The original group is comprised of the Beetle (Abner Jenkins, now known as Mach-V of the Thunderbolts), Speed Demon (James Sanders), Rhino (Aleksei M. Sytsevich), Boomerang ( Frederick "Fred" Myers) and Hydro Man (Morris Bench)!

At least 2 of us from the group are attending a convention in Lille this weekend, maybe 4. We might not sell all the sketchbooks; so you can still order some by mailing us. Note that art from those below are examples of sold sketchbooks. You can get a group shot or individual artist; but not all of us have enough spare time to do elaborated stuff, so you should have multiple artist choice in your mail or let us go wild and give you some collective creativity. Tell us what you like!
(Vous pourrez retrouver certains d'entre nous au Lille Comics Festival ce weekend. Et nous aurons le sketchbook à vendre avec nous avec un petit dessin pour la route. Si vous n'y allez pas, un e-achat par mail avec l'artiste ou les artistes de votre choix. Tous n'ont pas le même emploi du temps, donc il leur est plus difficile de faire des illustrations élaborées. Mais il est certain que si vous en prenez un et vous nous laissez faire, vous serez plus ou moins contents, mais contents. Dites nous quel perso vous aimez!

MOON SHADOW - an assassin sent to terminate the damned group. Every part of her body that is exposed non-covered to moonlight fades away. She cuts her victims arms, legs, eyes and let them die (envoyée pour éliminer le groupe maudit; toute partie de son corps exposé aux reflets de la lune disparaît. Elle coupe les bras, les jambes, les yeux et laisse mourir la victime)
WHISTLESTAR- A boy who knows the path to the entity that cursed them all (un garçon qui connaît le chemin pour retrouver l'entité qui les a damnés)
LADY D'ARBANVILLE - Beautyful corpse seeking her lover who cried her too much (un cadavre cherchant son amour éploré)
BONFIRE -a man; an ultimate guide. Whenever they need him to pass an obstacle, they have to open his armor/coffin and the more he is out, the more he ignites bodies around in a chain reaction (le guide ultime. Mais aussitôt libéré de l'armure/cercueil il enflamme les corps progressivement autour de lui)
FATHER & SON - Both turned into living stone. IF they unhand one will be free but the other will turn to dust (Tous deux devenus des rochers vivants. S'ils lâchent leurs mains, l'un peut-être libre, mais l'autre devient poussière ...heh, heh)
SWEET SCARLET - Girl made of sweet smelling and tasting mist. But her touch is poisonous (Une fille en barbapapa en spray mousseuse, mais qui peut t'empoisonner si tu la touches)
SAD LISA - a girl who when she is closer to any people starts suffering and her body opens as a dark portal taking people away ( Quand cette fille est très proche d'autres personnes elle commence à souffrir, son corps devient un portail sombre qui emporte tout)

SAD LISA and WHISTLESTAR are the evil entity's children. The boy brings the damned souls to it, and the girl feeds it with their souls.
Its their challenge to get rid of their damnations before they arrive at their destination.
(SAD LISA et WHISTLESTAR sont les enfants de l'entité maléfique. Le garçon amène les âmes maudites; et la fille doit nourrir l'entité avec leurs âmes. Leur défi ou destin est de se libérer des malédictions avant d'arriver au bout du voyage. Bah, tous n'y arriveront pas; évidemment)

NOTE: I was so disappointed by the characters group I've drawn below that I struggled on colors. I might do it well some day, but probably not... (Dans le groupe le seul personnage dont je suis content est la petite fille marchant en dernier; d'où les couleurs vraiment pas inspirées. Et pourtant j'ai aimé l'idée et le thème.)

Weirdly I could've inked, badly, all the page at the D'n'd session, but as always I talk too much (Une pitite collaboration avec Christophe qui écrit. Il a refait toute l'histoire courte sur une page et j'ai fais le reste. Peut-être qu'on va le refaire; ça peut-être marrant. This week the challenge was to take a band or a singer, and do a superhero team from their songs :)

Their powers :

"People of the sun" He comes from an ancient civilisation who were living in a sun 10 times bigger than our sun. He takes his energy from it.

"Take the power back" She can absorb explosions, energy waves, electricity. She can keep the energy, it makes her faster and stronger or, she can use it as a shield or an energy beam.

"Fistful of steel" Is an armor made by, and for, a very talented scientist who's small but, always wanted to be a superhero.

"Bomb track" When she puts her hands on the floor, a white track is drawn. She can send it wherever she wants (as far as there is a floor, wall, rocks... but not in the air) and make a huge explosion on the end of the track.

"Revolver" He can shoot wherever he wants, as far as he can see it. He builds his own special bullets.
